We carried out so much research before we bought everything we needed for our camping trip. Hours spent looking at online reviews and finding the best price. See our top recommendations below.  We would only ever recommend items we’ve bought or experienced ourselves and truly rate. If you have any questions about any of our recommendations please do leave a comment or get in touch via our contact page!Â
This 3 man tent from Decathlon is really reasonably priced at £69.99 and was perfect for the two of us.Â
Run don’t walk… this super light weight portable bbq doubles as a fire pit too and for a really reasonable price of only £17.99!
Who doesn’t love a fairytale lantern that’s also super practical? We got ours for £11.99. It has a handy hook so it can hang up in your tent (or else where), and it’s rechargeable – no single use batteries here thank you!
PLEASE whatever you do take insect repellent on your Scotland trips! We hadn’t heard of Smidge before but ended up buying some after we saw so many comments on our TikToks saying it was the best! We couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We paid £9.50.
We were looking for a candle that would be perfect for keeping insects at bay and couldn’t resist buying this one for £12.99 after reading the reviews. It definitely does the trick!
This lightweight camping table was only £18.99 and comes with its own carry bag. It’s easy to put together and sturdy enough. We also think it’s quite an aesthetically pleasing, minimalist table – practical and pretty!
