A short walk from the famous Sligachan Falls is a hidden gem – perfect for a (cool!) afternoon dip. We stopped here after a day visiting Loch Coruisk.

7. Enjoy a lunch tasting menu and Edinbane Lodge
This was our favourite meal of the trip!
Edinbane Lodge, established in 1543, is Skye’s oldest inn. The chef, a local, skillfully incorporates the best island and Highland ingredients, complemented by local crockery (Edinbane Pottery is just next door!), to create a delightful multi-course dinner menu. Indulge in the rich history, culinary excellence, and subtle Scottish charm of Edinbane Lodge.
8. Take a romantic walk in Portree

Scorrybreac Walk – A shorter walk by the shore of the beautiful Portree Bay, enjoy views out across the sea to the Island of Raasay.
Bring your camera as this walk offers a chance to see the Sea Eagles that nest on the high cliffs nearby. Makes a perfect after dinner walk on a long summers evening.
